Band of Unique, Demure, Outrageously Nice Gals.... We are a gorgeous (by our standards) group of 30-something interesting and diverse ladies... friendship tested by time. This is where we would express our thoughts, share what life has to offer, and reminisce the good 'ol days.---- that was more than a decade ago when this blog was set-up. We are still here and going strong!

DUBAI
Watched Star Cinema's DUBAI today. Beautiful picture! Great plot and script! It isn't everyday that I get to watch quality Filipino movies and this one surely hits that spot!
All playing overseas Filipino workers, Aga (Raffy) works an air freight employee in Dubai who works to assure his and his brother's future. When his brother Andrew (John Lloyd) follows him in Dubai, elation surges into Aga thinking that they can both be together to makes and help each other realize their dreams. But when Andrew meets Faye (Claudine), and both get closer for comfort, things are bound to change and take a different direction.
New comer John Lloyd Cruz's acting, I'd say is at par with the likes of Aga Muhlach and Claudine Barreto, his co-stars. Yup, I cried. A lot.
